No fooling, just Sunday Game Night

This is the part of the email where normally I provide you some sort of entertainment in the hope that it will cause you to think fondly on Sunday Game Night and then show up at my apartment. I’m not going to do that today. Today should be a day to reflect somberly on the murder of humor by corporate “pranks”; to make a joke here, now, would be pretty culturally insensitive. But I do need to let you know that Sunday Game Night will occur this Sunday at 5pm, and please bring food or drink to share. Also, let me know if you will be attending, but please keep it earnest in the replies.
