Evidence for People v. Sunday Game Night

Do you need anything before we get started? Coffee? A snack? OK, let’s get down to business. What do you know about this underground game night? Hey, look. I can’t help you unless you tell me what I need to know. Where is the game night held? I know you were there. There was meeple residue all over your hands. Yeah, we have a test for that. We have you dead to rights. But if you start talking, I can talk to the DA, see if we can’t get your charges reduced. Give me something really good and maybe you can walk on this. Who are you trying to protect, anyways? Nathan? Yeah, we know who he is. No way would that guy hesitate to give you up. Tell me, what do you know about game night? Hey. Hey. You see my partner over there? Yeah, if you don’t talk to me, she starts asking the questions next. Trust me, you don’t want that to happen. I don’t even like to watch. So let me tell you what we know already. We know there’s a regular Game Night on Sunday evenings, starting at 5pm. We know Nathan hosts it at his apartment. We know you’ve been there. We have proof. Look, you’re a small player. I’m not saying that to be mean. What we want is the evidence to put the ringleaders away for good. Tell me what you know! Playing it tough, huh? Won’t talk to me? Don’t say I didn’t warn you. I’ll be back in a few—what’s that? Huh. A stash at sundaygamenight.email? We’ll check that out. You sit tight.

Well detective, do you really want to get Nathan? Then ask yourself what you’re prepared to do. He pulls a duke tax, you pull a captain theft. He puts a boss on your ward, you put a slander chip on his. When his team guesses three agents, you have to be willing to go all the way. To go all the way. Do you think you’re ready to clue four agents in one turn based on the assumption that your team will know that the ones similar to Nathan’s last clue must be your agents because otherwise Nathan would have raised his number to try and clue them earlier? Because that’s what it’s gonna take, detective. That’s the game night way. That’s how you get Nathan.
