It's a slippery slope to Sunday Game Night

Game Friends,

I am disgusted by the allegations that I offer food and beer in exchange for showing up to Sunday Game Night. Nothing could be further from the truth. That would be just the kind of underhanded, corrupt event planning that my political opponents would turn to. In fact, how do we know my opponents are not paying for attendance? I bet they are! Many people are saying that those low-down dirty opponents of mine are offering people food and beer to attend their events, and that sickens me. I would never taint the sanctity of the democratic process like that. But we all know that the other side does it. So, do I do it? Don’t be so naive. That’s just how the sausage gets made. Of course I’ll give you food and beer if you show up to Game Night.
