Sunday Game Night marches forward

Game Friends,

Our researchers here at Sunday Game Night Enterprises have come up with a massive breakthrough in Game Night email technology. It’s a way of composing an email that is twice as funny and 50% more effective at convincing recipients to show up to Sunday Game Night. Not only that, it shows a stunning 300% increase in funny, well-composed, topical email responses. However, as this technology is far too dangerous to release to the public, we have regrettably decided that we must keep these advances to ourselves. But take our word for it—the emails are good. They’re real real good.

To show you how it works, we entered the following text:

“Game-o-nauts,

Well, another Friday has come and gone and”

Here’s the email it composed:

“Game-o-nauts,

Well, another Friday has come and gone and Sunday is on Saturday now. It’s another grill at Game Night! So come in, show down, sit up, and RSVP. Or, you know, be nachos.

Extremely, Nathan”

It won’t hold up to close inspection, but the casual reader could easily be fooled. And studies show that 92% of close readers will not be in attendance because their husbands are out of town this weekend and they don’t want to walk home at night with two infants. Until we all learn to read simple sentences, this technology is just too dangerous to be out in the world.
