New nomenclature for Sunday Game Night

I’m having a Game Night this Sunday at my apartment at 5pm. I call it a Sunday Game Night. Have you heard that phrase before, “Sunday Game Night”? I thought that was really good. I just came up with that the other week. You get what it means? You show up and play games and it’s on Sunday and it’s at night. Sunday Game Night. Sunday—the day it happens. Game—what we do at the party. Night—the time to show up. It’s not a perfect phrase because it leaves some stuff out. Like: you’re supposed to bring something to eat or something to drink. That’s just implied. It’s also appreciated if you tell me that you’re planning to show up. I appreciate it. It’s not required and it’s also not in the phrase “Sunday Game Night”. But overall, I’ve been thinking it over for the last week or so and I think it’s still a pretty good phrase that I just made up and I mean to keep using it.

Well I’ll be there but I feel like maybe the Mormons invented Sunday Game Night … or maybe it was Mandatory Game Sabbath? Oh, it’s Family Home Evening. But, like the RSVP of Sunday Game Night, the “mandatory” part of Family Home Evening is simply implied.
Unless you miss one, then you’re in the shit. But not the shit, they wouldn’t use that word.
